exalbuminous, exendospermous: exalbuminosus,-a,-um (adj.A), exalbuminatus,-a,-um (adj.A), absorbing albumen (endosperm) during seed-formation, rather than during germination and hence not having such a nutrient source at maturity; exendospermous, exendospermicus,-a,-um (adj.A), “lacking endosperm - used of seeds” (WIII);

- semina (pl.n.III) exalbuminata, abl. pl. seminibus exalbuminatis, exalbuminous seeds; see albumen;

- embryo exalbuminosus mox germinans (B&H), embryo exalbuminous, soon germinating.

- embryo juxta hilum albumine semiimmersus v. exalbuminosus (B&H), the embryo next to the hilum with a semiimmersed albumen or exalbuminous.

- Vide Xanthophyllum inter Polygalineas embryone recto exalbuminoso (B&H), see Xanthopyllum among the Polygalineae with a straight embryo, exalbuminous.
