crasse (adv.): thickly, solidly, densely, grossly, coarsely, compar. crassius (adv.), superl. crassissime (adv.); cf. grosse (adv.); see thickly;

- caulis crasse corticatus, stem thickly corticated.

- ECHINOCARPUS, Blume] capsula crasse coriacea v. lignosa, dense echinata v. setosa, capsule thickly leathery or woody, densely echinate or setose.

- nuculas crassius verruculosas (Boissier), the nucules more thickly [or densely] verruculose.

- [moss] Bryum platyloma,(-atis), margine crasse et flavo-limbata remote denticulata (C. Mueller), with the margin thickly and yellow-bordered, remotely denticulate.

- differt foliis elongatioribus densius crassiusque pellucido-punctatis (Boissier), it differs by the leaves more elongate, more densely and thickly pellucidly-punctate.

- lamina dorsalis lata crassius marginata, the dorsal lamina broad, more coarsely bordered

- [moss] Bryum platyloma,(-atis), margine crasse et flavo-limbata remote denticulata (C. Mueller), with the margin thickly and yellow-bordered, remotely denticulate.
