corollinus,-a,-um (adj.A): corolla-like, belonging to the corolla, inserted on the corolla; “1. seated on a corolla; 2. corolla-like, petaloid; 3. belonging to a corolla” (Jackson); “seated on a corolla; corolla-like; petaloid or belonging to a corolla” (Fernald 1950); cf. calycinus,-a,-um (adj.A), belonging to the calyx; see valvule;

- carina imberbis alis corollinis calycinisque multo brevior (DeCandolle), the keel lacking a beard, much shorter than the corolline and calycine wings.

- [Limnostachys] calyx persistens corollinus patens asqualiter 6-partitus, (F. Mueller), the calyx persisting, the corolline [calyx] spreading, equally 6-parted.

- [Ranunculus auricomus] petalis imllis, calyce colorato corollino (DeCandolle), with petals none, with the corolline calyx colored.

- tubo corollino longiore distinguitur, it is distinguished by the corolla tube longer.

- filamenta staminalia in tertio basali tubi corollini inserta, staminal filaments inserted in the basal third of the corolline tube [i.e. tube of the corolla].

- perianthium corollinum, 4-partitum, corolline perianth 4-parted.

- [PHALARIS oryzoides] gluma sola corollina bivalvi, clausa, a PHALARIDE valde distinctum (Swartz), by the single corolline glume bivalved, closed, strongly separate from Phalaris.

- [Aristidia] Glumae corollinae Valvula subulata, convoluta, longior, apice aristata, nitens, basi villosa (Swartz),the valvule [i.e. flowering glume] of the corolline glume subulate, convolute, longer, with an awn at the apex, shining, villous at the base.
