A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
Corallina,-ae (s.f.I): a genus of algae in the Rhodophyta that inhabits tide pools; ‘resembling coral;’ see coral;

- Hab. in sinubus magis absconditis et tranquillis inter Algas et Corallinas repens; ad saxa molae extra portum Liburniae, et Massiliae (Agardh), it grows in bays more hidden and calm creeping among the algae and Corallina [sc. species]; on the stones of the breakwater outside of the port of Liburnia and Massilia.

Corallina indurata; C. anceps, C. arbuscula, C. cylindrica, C. lichenoides, C. marginata, C. officinalis, C. palmata
