A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
coralliformis,-e (adj.B): coral-like in form [> L. coralium (also corallum), -i (s.n.II), abl. sg. coralo (corallo), from a Gk. word korallion: coral, especially red coral; “resembling coral in general appearance” (Lindley); (fungi) “much branched; like coral in form” (Ainsworth & Bisby); see coral;

- isidia claviformia coralliformia cylindrica, soredialia squamiformia vel verruciformia, isidia club-shaped coral-like cylindric, the soredial scaly or warty; cf. Geesteranus in Blumea 6:47(1947) (Stearn).

isidiatus,-a,-um (adj.A): provided with an isidium,-ii (s.n.II), abl. sg. isidio: a small branched (coral-like) outgrowth from a lichen thallus” (Ainsworth & Bisby).
