constanter (adv.), compar. constantius (adv.); superl. constantissime: firmly, immovably, steadily, constantly, without change; harmoniously, evenly, regularly, uniformly, consistently, strictly; steadfastly, faithfully; (of progression) steadily, continually, persistently [> L. consto,-stiti,-statum, 3. to stand together, stand with something; to agree with, to correspond];

- A Floreali mense usque ad Brumalem caelum constanter serenum et nitidum (Desf.), from the (French Revolutionary) month Floreal to the (French Revolutionary) month Brumal the weather [is] constantly clear and shining.

- [fungus] sapor in nostris valde nauseosus quidem, at constanter totus mitis (S&A), the taste in our [sc. species] certainly strongly nauseous, but the whole consistently sweet-tasting.

- junior subhemisphaerico - concava, adulta constanter margine inflexo depresso - plana subirregularis evadit (S&A), the younger subhemispheric-concave, the adult becomes steadily somewhat irregular, with an inflexed, depressed-flat margin.
