A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
-cidalis,-e (adj.B): in L. comp., with a tendency, capacity or ability to be a (specified) -killer, -destroyer;

- anguicidalis,-e (adj.B), tending to kill or destroy snakes.

- fungicidalis,-e (adj.B), “able to kill fugnus spores or mycelium” (Ainsworth & Bisby).

- insecticidalis,-e (adj.B), tending to kill or destroy insects.

- matricidalis,-e (adj.B), with a tendency to kill ones mother.

- nematocidalis,-e (adj.B): capable of destroying nematodes.

- parridicialis,-e (adj.B), parricidalis,-e (adj.B), with a tendency to kill ones father or parent(s).

- suidicalis,-e (adj.B), with a tendency to kill oneself.
