A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
cicatrisatus,-a,-um (adj.A): “scarred or scarry (Jackson) = cicatricose” (Jackson);

NOTE: cicatricized, scarred = -isatus, on analogy with -izatus; see -izans,-izantis (part.B).

- [Baeckea] ramulis cicatrisatis (F. Muell.), with the branchlets cicatricized [i.e. made scarred].

- [Xanthostemon] ramuli cicatrisati (F. Muell.), with the branchlets cicatricized [i.e. made scarred]

- [Goodenia] ramuli dense cicatrisati (F. Muell), with the branchlets densely [i.e. closely] cicatricized [i.e. scarry].

- [Hymenotheca] racemi ejusdem sunt breves, multiflori; rachis crassa, denique dense cicatrisata (F. Muell.), the racemes of the same are short, many-flowered; the rachis thick, ultimately densely cicatricized.

Cucumis cicatrisatus = Cucumis melo; Clitopilus cicatrisatus = Agaricus cicatrisatus. Cicatrix,-icis (s.f.III), nom. & acc. pl. cicatrices, gen. pl. cicatricum, dat. & abl. pl. cicatricibus:
