A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

capreolinus,-a,-um (adj.A): of or relating to the capreolus, the roe deer;

- [fungi] ad stercus capreolinum in udis inter Polytricha gregarium (S&A), on the scat of roe deer in soaked places gregarious among Polytricha [mosses].

- praeter stercus vaccinum et equinum, quae vulgaris incolit, aliquoties etiam in succerda, et insignis quidem statura ac luxurie, nobis visus: minor contra et delicatior in fimo capreolino, locis umbrosis humentibus jacente (S&A), besides cow and horse dung, which it inhabits in common, sen at different times by us even on pig excrement, and certainly remarkable in stature and luxuriance: on the other hand it is smaller and more delicate on the skat of the roe deer, thrown down in shady, moist places.

A work in progress, presently with preliminary A through R, and S, and with S (in part) through Z essentially completed.
