benevole (adv.), benigne (adv.), benigniter (adv.): benevolently, kindly, obligingly; opp. maligne (adv.): spitefully; grudgingly;

- E prov. Buitenzorg ejusdem insulae Cl. Miquel benevole communicavit (Mueller), from Buitenzorg district of the same island the most eminent Miquel kindly communicated [i.e. shared] it.

- Patria. E regno Chilensi Cl. Schwaegrichen nobiscum prius benevolo communicavit (Mueller), Native country. From the Chilean kingdom the most eminent Schwaegrichen earlier kindly shared it with us [i.e. with me, i.e. the author].

- [Leucobryum] L. sanctum, also Dicranum sanctum: Patria. Ad sepulcra sancta Javae insulae. E Singapore relatum Cl. Kunze benevole communicavit (Mueller), Native land. On sacred graves of the island of Java. Sent from Singamore, the eminent Kunze kindly shared it.

- in plaga paludosa litorali inter sinum regis Georgii et ostium fluvii Gordon detexit et specimina mecum bénévole communicavit celeberrimus Aug. Gregory (F. Mueller), detected in the swampy coastal region between the bay of king George and the mouth of the Gordon River, and the most celebrated Aug. Gregory kindly shared the specimens with me.
