aequi-: in L. comp., equally + dat. when compared; opp. inaequi-, q.v., ‘unequally;’ see inaequalis,-e (adj.B); cf. is-, iso-: in Gk. comp., equal, homogeneous, uniform, like; see aequalis,-e (adj.B);

- aequicrassus,-a,-um (adj.A): of equal thickness;

- furcis brevibus, latis, ubique aequicrassa (Steph.), with the forks short, broad, everywhere equally thick.

- aequiflorus,-a,-um (adj.A) with flowers alike in form and character (Jackson).

- aequilaterus,-a,-um (adj.A), aequilateralis,-e (adj.B), equilateral, equal-sided; aequilatus,-a,-um (adj.A), equally thick or wide;

- aequilobus,-a,-um (adj.A), with equal lobes; aequitrilobus,-a,-um (adj.A): “with three equal lobes” (Stearn 1996).

- aequimagnus,-a,-um (adj.A), of the same size.

- aequiretis,-e (adj.B): with the areolation homogeneous, regular.

inaequiretis,-e (adj.B): with the areolation irregular, of different shapes

- aequivalvis,-e (adj.B), “having valves of flowers or fruit of similar size” (Jackson).

- aequivenius,-a,-um (adj.A), “all the veins of equal distinctness” (Jackson).

subaequi-: in L. comp. nearly equally, almost equally + dat.; see subaequalis,-e (adj.B);

- petalis subaequilongis, with petals somewhat of equal length.
