adfixus,-a,-um: see affixus,-a,-um (part.A).
affixus,-a,-um (part. A) attached, closely joined to, fastened, inserted [> L. affigo, affixi, affixum, 3, to fasten to, affix] the thing to which something is attached is in the simple dat. or ad + acc. or in + acc.; see attached; see fixed;

- fungus per stipitem parvum affixus, fungus attached by a short stipe.

- laminae erectae per hapteron parvum discoideum affixae, laminae erect, attached by a small discoid hapteron; see attached;

- thalli in membrana peritrophica larvarum Chironomidarum affixi, thalli attached to the peritrophic membrane of Chironomidae larvae.

- margine pilei in substratum affixa, with the margin of the pileus attached to the substrate.

- planta retinaculo irregulariter lobato substrato affixa, plant by an irregularly lobed holdfast affixed to the substrate.

- antheridia plerumque prope stipitem oogonialem affixa, antheridia usually near the oogonial stipe attached.

- stamina 4, exserta, ad sinus corollae affixa, stamens 4, exserted, attached to the sinus of the corolla.

- stamina circa discum crassum affixa (B&H), stamens attached around a thick disc.
