1. China: Sina,-ae (s.f.I), abl. sg. sina;

- in suburbiis Cantoniensibus Sinarum (DeCandolle), in the suburbs residing in Canton [a commercial city in SE China] of the Chinas [i.e. the Empire, Republic, provinces, etc.].

2. China,-ae (s.f.I), also used in botany; adj. chinensis,-e (adj.B);

- in China inter Peking et Jebul (DeCandolle), in China between Peking and Jebul [there is a mark over the ‘a’ in China to indicate it is in the ablative case].

- [Illicium anisatum] capsulae e China sub nomine Anisum Chinensis adportatae (DeCandolle), the capsules imported from China under the name Anisum Chinensis.

Taiwania,-ae (s.f.I): a (monotypic) genus in Cypressaceae whose range includes the mountains of central Taiwan. Taiwaniaceae.
