A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
-frons, gen. sg. –frondis (s.f.III),: in L. comp. with (specified) leaves; –leaved; see frons, gen. sg. frondis (s.f.III), used in L. comp. as an adj.;

NOTE: many compounds are made with this element in the epithets of ferns.

NOTE: I have made the abl.sg. end in –i, rendered the neuter forms the same in the nom. & acc. sg. and pl. in the manner of other nouns made into B. adjectives, e.g. –formis,-e (adj.B):
