Louiseania ulmifolia Pachom. [Aflatunia ulmifolia (Franch.) Vass.], - Louzeania

Central Asia (Pamir, Tien Shan) and Afghanistan. On rocky shallow soil.

Shrub 0,7-3.5 m. Stems divaricate. Leaves obovate or oval. Flowers pink, abundant, crowded on short branches. Very spectacular when flowering and fruiting. Tolerant of various soil conditions. Heat resistant. P - by seed and offsprings. Z 5. New.
