SHORT-TERM RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS AT MBG

MBG offers fellowships to young professionals who want to conduct independent research at MBG's headquarters in St. Louis. The fellowships include economic support and access to the herbarium, the library, and MBG's botanical database, TROPICOS. The fellows also have the opportunity to interact with MBG researchers, as well as with other fellows and graduate students from different countries. In addition, the fellows may, if they wish, present their work at MBG and may attend training sessions in the use of Geographic Information Systems at the Environmental System Research Institute (ESRI).

The fellows gain an international research experience and return to their countries to apply their research initiatives and to serve as advisors and guides to others interested in botany and conservation.
