How can you preserve the wonderful summer harvest? Learn the trick to sweet corn freezing and all about the hot water bath canning process. Lana will teach you how to can tomato jam and quick pickles. You will also learn the current resources for canning and freezing your produce. Bring all your questions. Designed for adults only.
 
Registration end July 8 at 3 p.m.
 
All cooking classes are demonstration only unless otherwise noted. Chefs serve sample-sized portions and give copies of their recipes.

  Class- Allow 10 minutes to walk to the Center for Home Gardening Classroom at MBG. For evening classes: use the path to the right of the building to circle around to the lower level entrance.
