Tropical water lilies in the pools in the Milles Sculpture Garden
are in full bloom. The Amazon water lilies (Victoria amazonica) are
flowering for the first time in more than a quarter century.
Tardiva Hydrangeas (Hydrangea paniculata 'Tardiva') are blooming in
many locations on the grounds.
The pools in the Swift Family Garden contain many unusual species.
Annuals in the beds surrounding these pools make a colorful display.
Roses in both the Gladney and Lehmann Rose Gardens are at the peak
of seasonal bloom.
In the Shoenberg Temperate House, the lavender berries of the
American beautyberry (Callicarpa americana) are very showy. Look atop
the arbor for the beautiful purple blossoms of the Evergreen wisteria
(Milletia reticulata).
In the Linnean house, dainty red spider lilies (Lycoris radiata)
poke their heads out the windows. Rex begonias are particularly
showy, displaying their bold and colorful foliage.
Toad lilies (Tricyrtis spp.) in the English Woodland Garden are
becoming showy.

Home Gardening are highly attractive to a wide array of beneficial insects.
