Guided Walking Tours

Public Walking Tours
Garden Docents lead tours of the Garden at 10 a.m. (Memorial Day through Labor Day) and 1 p.m. (throughout the rest of the year). Included with admission, tours are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Private Guided Walking Tours by Arrangement
Groups may choose between a one-hour guided Garden overview (if including the Japanese Garden please allow a minimum of 1½ hours) or a tour customized for your group’s interests.
The cost of a private guided walking tour is $5 per person, in addition to Garden admission. A minimum of $50 is required to book a private guided walking tour.
For more information on private guided walking tours, as well as other amenities and discounts available for group visitors, please call the Tourism Department toll-free 1-800-332-1286 (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.), or e-mail tourism@mobot.org.
PLEASE NOTE: The Missouri Botanical Garden features 79 acres of landscaped displays. We recommend a minimum of three hours for your complete group tour of the Garden. For tightly scheduled itineraries, you may be able to manage a two-hour visit, but this will require skipping the famed Seiwa-en Japanese Garden.
The Missouri Botanical Garden is a tobacco-free environment.
