The Missouri Botanical Garden is a serene oasis for humans and other creatures in the heart of St. Louis.

Please help us protect the natural habitat and maintain the Garden’s beauty for all to enjoy by observing the following:

• Supervise children at all times.

• Leave flowers and plants for everyone to enjoy. Do not collect or remove seeds, flowers, fruits, vegetables, plant labels, etc.

• No climbing, running, sports, or games.

• Stay on pathways and mowed lawn areas. Do not walk in garden beds. Do not wade or swim in ponds, streams, or fountains. Visitors will be held liable for any damage to Garden property.

• No smoking. We are a smoke-free environment.

• No pets. Sight-enabling guide dogs/animals are permitted.

• Dispose of trash in recycle bins and trash cans.

• Do not feed or handle the wildlife. It can be harmful to them—and you.

• No picnics or coolers. Visitors who wish to picnic may do so nearby in Tower Grove Park, south of the Garden.

• No music.

• No alcohol.

• No firearms.

• No tripods or monopods in the conservatories. Do not block paths when taking photos.

• Shirts and shoes are required at all times.

• Use Garden benches for resting. Laying blankets on the grass is permitted for Garden performances only.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
