HOW THE SCIENCE OF PLANTS CAN HELP SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT


The formation of the Center was made possible through a very generous pledge from
The Bellwether Foundation, strongly supported by Robert Brookings Smith, then an emeritus member of the Missouri Botanical Garden's Board of Trustees, and with
start-up funds from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, The John D. and
Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The David and Lucile Packard Foundation,
