This, together with
Chickory (Cichorium intybus) and Curly Dock (Rumex crispus) is
one of the most noxious of the weeds that persist from “wildflowers” in a can
planted along interstates and other major highways, especially forming dense
colonies several years after the more spectacular species in the mix die during
winter cold.
