Range: Ont-swPQ. Status: Endangered in New Hampshire. Threatened in Wisconsin. Rare in Minnesota. Protection: Protected by law in New York, Argus & White (1977). Not listed as rare in the Niagara Frontier Region by Zander & Pierce (1979). Zenkert (1934) (as A. angustifolium) suggests it is "rather infrequent. Low rich woods, also in limestone areas; rather abundant (locally)."
