                Range: Ont-swPQ. Status: Rare in Canada. Threatened in Wisconsin. Rare in Minnesota, Argus & White (1977). Listed as rare in the Niagara Frontier Region by Zander and Pierce (1979). This species is on the Rare Plant Status List of the New York Natural Heritage Program (Clemants, 1989).

Agastache scrophulariaefolia (Willd.) Kuntze. PURPLE GIANT HYSSOP. "Borders of thickets along the slopes of Queenston Heights, one mile beyond Queenston station. (Macoun). Macoun (1884). (As Lophanthus scrophulariaefolius Benth.), "slopes of Queenston Heights (Macoun)," Day (1888).

Listed as rare in the Niagara Frontier Region by  Zander and Pierce (1979).  Range: swOnt.  Status: Rare and possibly extirpated in Canada, Argus & White (1977). A pre-1925 collection is noted in the Niagara area of Ontario by Morton (in Argus, et al., 1987).
