*Acanthopanax sieboldianus Makino. ACANTHOPANAX. Planted in
various places, along the top of the northwestern slope of Goat Island and
along the central woods edge, eastern margins, 1988. Green Island, 1988. First
Sister, east end, by bridge to Second Sister, 1988.
Not reported for the Niagara
Frontier Region by Zander and Pierce (1979), nor for New York State by Mitchell
(1986) or Ontario (Morton & Venn, 1990). Does not appear to be spreading
from the stations indicated.
