The main collection of K.F.Ledebour is stored in LE Herbarium.

This collection was a principal base for the famous Ledebour'"Flora Rossica".

Sizes of sheets: Obviously, the herbarium was initialy mounted on sheets of rather thin grey, yellowish-grey or blueish-grey paper 42 x 25 cm. Later, it was remounted on sheets 42-43 x 28 cm; some old sheets were glued as whole on new ones.

Features of appearance: The original labels are handwritten, of different sizes. Some sheets have additional labels written in pencil, with marks: "Herb. Ledeb.", species name and number. Sometimes the numbers are written in pencil on original labels. The pencil subscriptions were made later; the numbers correspond to the species numbers in "Flora rossica" and their arrangement in herbarium cases.
