Tile (Eng.noun): later,-eris (s.m.III), q.v., abl.sg. latere, a brick, tile; tegula,-ae (s.f.I), q.v., abl.sg. tegula, ‘tile, tiled roof;’ imbrex,-icis (s.f.III), q.v., abl.sg. imbrice, a hollow tile to keep the rain off as used in gutters, used in roofing, gutter-tile; testa,-ae (s.f.I), q.v., a piece of burned clay, a brick, tile; see brick.

Geison,-i (s.n.II), abl.sg. geisono; also geisson,-i (s.n.II), abl.sg. geissono: ‘tile;’ see geison,-i (s.n.II).

covered with tiles: tegulicius,-a,-um (adj.A).

living on tiles, such as certain lichen species: tegulicola,-ae (s.c.I), abl. sg. tegulicola.

pertaining to or resembling a tile; relating to a tegula: tegularis,-e (adj.B).
