- Bieremus,-i (s.m.II? from bi, twice + eremus, a hermit = L. “a two-celled fruit, the cells so far apart as to seem separate, as in Cerinthe” (Jackson).

- eremicola,-ae (s.c.I), dweller in the desert.

- eremophilus,-a,-um (adj.A), desert-loving.

- Eremoblast: “cells which, united at first, afterwards separate themselves” (Jackson): eremoblastus,-i (s.m.II) [> Gk. erEmos, solitary + blastos, a shoot].

Eremonotus,-i (s.m.II) > Gk. eremos, ‘isolated, deserted + notos, dampness, in reference to the habitat of this monotypic genus; Eremophila,-ae (s.f.I), desert-loving, a genus in the Verbenaceae.

A work in progress, presently with preliminary A through R, and S, and with S (in part) through Z essentially completed.
