Early Daffodils and Forsythia are beginning to bloom throughout the Garden.
Crocus, Glory of the Snow, and Squill are blooming in many locations on the
grounds. Snowdrops are past peak, but many are still blooming.
Witchhazels are past peak bloom but many are still flowering in various
locations on the grounds. Large specimens can be found in the Daylily, English
Woodland, Kemper Native Shade, Chinese, and Japanese Gardens.
Camellias are at peak bloom inside the Linnean House. Fragrant Pink jasmine
(Jasminum polyanthum) in the hanging baskets perfumes the air in this
conservatory.
Many plants are flowering in the Shoenberg Temperate House.
Flowering apricot (Prunus mume) is blooming in the Chinese Garden.
Hellebores are blooming in many locations on the grounds. Several large,
older collections can be found in the English Woodland Garden.
Pansies bloom again with vigor as spring approaches.
