Forget-Me-Nots by the Three Graces statue in the English Woodland
Garden are very showy.
Many plants are now flowering in the Heckman Rock garden, but the
Yarrows, Rose campions, and Evening primroses are particularly
noteworthy.
The delightful scent of Star jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides)
wafts throughout the Linnean House. Impatiens are in full bloom and
the foliage of the Rex begonias is very showy.
The California wildflower slope in the Temperate House is ablaze
with color, featuring California poppies (Eschscholzia californica),
Farewell-to-spring (Clarkia unguiculata) and Gilia (Gilia capitata).
Kousa dogwoods are past peak bloom, but many are still showy,
especially the trees near the entrance to the English Woodland Garden.
Goatsbeard and Astilbes are very showy in the Hosta Walk and the
English Woodland Garden.
Hardy Water lilies in the pool at the base of the Knolls are showy.
Penstemon 'Husker Red' and Lambs-Ears make a great combination by
the entrance to the Boxwood Garden.
The fragrant blossoms of the huge Large-leaved Linden in the center
of the Knolls perfume the air.
The new Kresko Victorian Garden near the Kaiser Maze is very showy.
