Paspalum bonplandianum  Flüggé;  Poaceae o Gramineae

Hierbas en macollas laxas, a veces rastreras, miden hasta 15 cm de alto, de color verde azulado y densamente cubiertas de pelos blancos. Las hojas son lanceoladas y tienen una vaina en la base; la lámina es estrecha y mide hasta 8 cm de largo. Las inflorescencias crecen sobre tallos rojizos, son racimos compuestos, laxos y contienen hasta 9 espiguillas; las flores son muy reducidas, de color verde amarillento.

Distribución: Ecuador y Perú. En el PNC se encuentra en el páramo de pajonal.

Herbs in lax tufts, sometimes trailing, up to 15 cm long, bluish green and densely covered with white hairs. The leaves are lanceolate, and have a sheath at the base; the blade is narrow, up to 8 cm long. The inflorescences grow on reddish stems; they are lax compound racemes with up to 9 spikelets; the yellowish green flowers are much reduced.

Distribution: Ecuador and Peru. In CNP it is found in the grass páramo.
