Lachemilla orbiculata  (Ruiz & Pav.) Rydb.;  Rosaceae

Hierbas rastreras, forman alfombras al nivel del suelo. Las hojas están dispuestas en una roseta en la base, miden hasta 3,5 cm de largo, tienen forma orbicular-arriñonada, la superficie con vello blanco; los bordes tienen de 9 a 11 lóbulos, son dentados; el pecíolo es alargado y rojizo. La inflorescencia es poco llamativa, mide 3 cm de largo. Las flores miden hasta 4 mm de largo, son de color verde-amarillento.

Distribución: Colombia a Perú. Planta muy común en el PNC, especialmente en áreas alteradas y de pastoreo.

Trailing herbs, forming mats at ground level. The leaves, arranged in a basal rosette, are up to 3.5 cm long, orbicular-kidney shaped, white-villous; the margins are dentate, with 9 to 11 lobes; the petiole is elongate and reddish. The inflorescence is inconspicuous, up to 3 cm long. The flowers are up to 4 mm long and yellowish-green.

Distribution: Colombia to Peru. It is a common species in CNP, especially in disturbed and grazing areas.
