Gentianella longibarbata  (Gilg) Fabris;  Gentianaceae

Plantas con tallos laxos, algo reclinados en la base, algo leñosos, que miden hasta 80 cm de alto. Las hojas son lanceoladas, opuestas, miden hasta 6 cm de largo, y son algo duras. Las flores miden hasta 40 mm de largo, tienen apariencia tubular por los pétalos algo sobrepuestos, algo colgantes, de color verde amarillento o amarillo limón, a veces con manchas moradas.

Distribución: Es endémica del PNC, crece dentro de los bosques de Polylepis o en el páramo arbustivo.

Plants with lax stems, somewhat reclining at base, somewhat woody, up to 80 cm tall. The leaves are opposite, lanceolate, up to 6 cm long, stiff. The flowers are 40 mm long, appearing tubular by the overlapping petals, pendent, and yellowish green or lemon yellow, sometimes with purple dots.

Distribution: Endemic to CNP, where it is found in the Polylepis forests or in the shrubby páramo.
