Gentianella cerastioides  (Kunth) Fabris;  Gentianaceae

Hierbas pequeñas que miden hasta 5 cm de alto, que a veces forman almohadillas pequeñas. Las hojas, opuestas y amontonadas a lo largo del corto tallo, son lanceoladas, miden hasta 8 mm de largo. Las flores son solitarias, erguidas, miden hasta 25 mm de largo, de color lila o rara vez rosado, con las venas más oscuras.

Distribución: S Colombia y Ecuador. En el PNC se encuentra en el páramo de almohadillas.

Small herbs up to 5 cm tall, sometimes forming small cushions. The leaves, opposite and clustered along the short stem, are lanceolate, up to 8 mm long. The flowers are solitary, erect, up to 25 mm long, lilac or rarely pink, with darker veins.

Distribution: S Colombia and Ecuador. In CNP it is found in the cushion páramo.
