Scandent shrub, culms in cluster of
--DATOS LARGOS--ing to 4-8 m, then
drooping down and becoming pendant for
several meters. Stems solid. Leafy twigs
to about 20 cm, leaves 8-9 mm x 5-7 cm,
bases of midvein pubescent below.
Reproductive twigs to 20 cm with 1-2 sm

then arching over and trailing down for
several meters stems to 12 m. Flower
green.

Bamboo, culms to 20 m, ascending into
roadside trees, then dangling back to
ground level, steep road bank. Leaves
only on inflorescences, rest of plant
leafless. Fruits green. Lowest nodes
on culms with rings of spine-like
adventitious roots.
