Rangy shrub ca 1 m tall, cultivated near
house. Petioles tinged maroon, especial-
ly toward base. Corolla pale lime-green;
anthers dull lemon-yellow. Ripe fruits
rounded-quadrangular, orange-yellow, the
seeds straw-colored. Called "naranjilla"
here, the fruits used to make refresco.
