Spend two nights and three days with photographer Stewart D. Halperin examining "how we prepare our body, mind and camera gear when we set off to see the world." For more than 45 years Stewart traveled the world with his camera. He covered six continents and more than 95 countries. From the rainforests of Tanzania to the canals of Venice, his bold images convey a deep sense of place. This intimate and intense workshop will immerse you into all the elements that go into making your travel experience and travel images reach another level. Each participant will submit a disk of 20-30 images that relate to some aspect of travel. The workshop will include review and critique of each participant's images, with extensive lectures and viewing of Stewart's images as well. In addition, there will be a chance to review photos taken around Shaw Nature Reserve during the workshop. Accommodations will be dormitory style in the Reserve's historic log lodges. Registration ends July 5 at 5:00 p.m. |
