For children ages 3 and up, with an accompanying adult. Do fairies and other mythical creatures live at Shaw Nature Reserve? This program, based on the children's book Fairy Houses by Tracy Kane, will shed some light on that question. Construct your own miniature house for a fairy, troll, gnome, or any other creature that may live in the woods at Shaw Nature Reserve. This class will be held outdoors, so please come prepared with sunscreen, water bottles, walking shoes, snacks, hats, etc. The class will be cancelled if it rains. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch so that you can explore more of Shaw Nature Reserve after the program. Advanced registration is required. Registration ends June 13 at 5:00 p.m. |
