Missouri Botanical Garden
Horticulture Division Education and Training
Welcome to Horticulture Education and Training at Missouri Botanical Garden. Part of our mission statement is "...to share knowledge about plants and their environment...". Horticulture supports that goal by offering a diverse array of educational possibilities with opportunities for learning at many levels.
We share information through our labels and signage in the Garden, classes and lectures, seminars and workshops, demonstrations, exhibits and displays. We teach even more through community outreach, publications and videos, personal service and the media.
Online, we've expanded opportunities to educate the public through valuable information on ways Horticulture teaches, including Internships, Adult Education courses, and Master Gardener Training. Students interested in interning here can visit our Summer Internship pages where they will learn how they might participate in a 12-week practical work-experience program at our world-class institution and enjoy networking opportunities that may last throughout their careers.
