MBG Hort Intern - Summer of 1997

What I remember the most about working as a Hort Intern was the strong friendships that the Hort workers have with one another. Everyone genuinely cared about one another and that made my internship a very special experience. Of course I also learned some extremely valuable gardening techniques that I use in my own garden.

After my internship was over I became the Garden's Web Developer for over a year. It combined my educational experience in Horticulture and Biology with my interest in the Internet. I am now the Web Group Project Leader and I help oversee a project to digitize plant images and make those images available online.
