Missouri Botanical Garden

Horticulture Volunteers

There are nearly 400 devoted volunteers working in Horticulture.

South volunteers
Whether here for a few hours each week or a couple of days every month, our volunteers help the Garden grow.

Sharing their expertise with our many guests and visitors, our volunteers can be found all over the Garden grounds, working in every aspect of the Division of Horticulture. Some have been with us for many years, yet there are always more people coming into volunteer service at Missouri Botanical Garden.

Who ARE these wonderful people?! Some are neighbors and all are certainly our friends. They represent the wonderful diversity of our community and include area students and home-makers, those in the work force and those who are retired. Some of our volunteers are Master Gardeners, still others are Plant & Flower Society members. Some are educators, even clergy, and many are entreprenuers.

Visit our Volunteer Spotlight for close-ups on the talented individuals in service with Horticulture at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Many have interesting stories to share about how they came to be part of the Garden's volunteer force and how they help support our mission.
