A Conference to Explore Rural and Urban Landscapes

at Missouri Botanical Garden and Shaw Nature Reserve
St. Louis, Missouri & Gray Summit, Missouri
Thursday will be spent at Shaw Nature Reserve. Shaw Nature Reserve is an extension of the Missouri Botanical Garden and includes 2,500 acres of natural Ozark landscape and managed plant collections. Located 35 miles southwest of St. Louis in Gray Summit, Missouri, it provides environmental education, ecological research and public enjoyment of the natural world. Bus transportation will be provided.
Friday will be spent at Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. The Missouri Botanical Garden, widely considered one of the top three botanical gardens in the world, strives to discover and share knowledge about plants and their environment, in order to preserve and enrich life. Today, more than 140 years after opening, the Garden is a National Historic Landmark and a center for botanical research, education and horticultural display.

SCHEDULE
Cost of the two-day conference is $120.
Cost will include all sessions and tours, the reception Wednesday night, lunch and dinner on Thursday, lunch on Friday, and the post-conference tour on Saturday.

After September 5, the remaining rooms will not be held specifically for the conference and the conference rate may or may not be offered. After September 5, check with Sheraton Clayton Plaza for availability and cost. Note that all bus pick ups will be from Sheraton Clayton Plaza only.
