The island of Socotra, off the Horn of Africa, is remarkable for its wonderful biota, unique culture, and large tracts of well-conserved dry tropical habitat. More remarkable is of course the apparent lack of Moringa spp. from the island. This photo was swiped from www.macalister-elliott.com/, and for all I know just might be a view of the northern coast east of Hadibu. Or perhaps Hadibu is on the coast just around the rocky ridge. Sadly, I haven't been to Socotra.
