Common Brand Names:
| Ferti-lome Whitefly & Mealybug Spray | |
| Bonide Whitefly & Mealybug Spray |
Chemical Action and Usages: Synthetic pyrethroid (resmethrin) in a RTU spray container for the control of whitefly, mealybug, aphid, spider mites, fungus gnats, scale crawlers & other insects on plants in homes or greenhouses. Chemically resembles the naturally occurring botanical pyrethrins, except that pyrethroids such as resmethrin are more toxic to pest and have a longer residual persistence. This is a contact spray and stomach poison that attacks the insect's nervous system.
Cautions/Instructions: Read the label carefully of the brand you have selected. Apply the product according to the directions on the label. Do not apply near children or pets. Cover aquariums to protect fish.
Toxicity: Low to moderate toxicity to humans, birds and pets. Highly toxic to fish and to bees and other beneficial insects.
