The following plants were selected from plants that have displayed a long-season of bloom at the Missouri Botanical Garden based on several years of bloom data. Grasses that hold their flower stalk well into winter are also included. In many cases, only the species or a good, representative cultivar of a species has been included. For example, many cultivars of purple coneflower, Echinacea purpurea are good, long-season bloomers, but only the species has been listed.
