General Culture:
Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates light shade. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage additional bloom. Plants can be cut/sheared back to basal foliage after bloom to tidy ground cover appearance and possibly stimulate a sparse fall bloom.
Noteworthy Characteristics:
'Pavane' is low-growing, slowly-spreading veronica which grows to 10" tall. Dense, vertical terminal spikes of tiny pink flowers bloom in summer. Small, lance-shaped green leaves.
Problems:
No serious insect or disease problems. Root rot may occur in wet, poorly drained soils, particularly in winter.
Uses:
Rock gardens and border fronts. Attractive small area ground cover.
