Noteworthy Characteristics:

‘Cream Ball’ is a dwarf coniferous evergreen false cypress (sometimes called Sawara false cypress) cultivar. It grows very slowly (1-2” per year), eventually reaching a mature height of approximately 2’ tall by 2’ wide. It features gray-green foliage with distinctive yellow-green to almost white tips.

Problems: Click for detailed list of pests and problems.

No serious insect or disease problems. False cypress cultivars often have some susceptibility to juniper blight, root rot and certain insect pests such as bagworms.

Uses:

Rock gardens, foundation plantings. Dwarf specimen.
