General Culture:

Best grown in moist, rich, organic, well-drained soils in part shade. Tolerates full sun in cool climates with constant moisture and a good summer mulch, but generally does best in part shade in warmer summer climates.

Noteworthy Characteristics:

‘Juanita’ is a primrose cultivar that typically grows in a clump to 8” tall and 12” wide. It is noted for its large soft yellow flowers that bloom in spring. Flowers appear on stems above a basal rosette of bright green leaves.

Problems:

No serious insect or disease problems. Slugs, snails, aphids and spider mites are sometimes seen.

Uses:

Border fronts, rock gardens or open woodland areas. May be used for edging.
