Caddisflies |
| General Recommendations: Caddisflies are a group of aquatic insects. The adults resemble moths but the larvae are found in bodies of water where they feed on plant life. The larvae are a common food source for aquatic animals including some fish. Many produce a cloth-like or hard tube of various materials depending upon the species in which the larvae seek shelter when they are not feeding. They generally do little damage to plants in aquatic gardens. |
