Cheryl became a Master Gardener in 2000. In childhood, she developed an interest in growing plants when she helped with her grandmotherís vegetable garden. Cheryl enjoys many types of gardening, including native plants, medicinal plants, herbs, vegetables, container plants, flowers, exotics, trees, and shrubs. Her St. Louis County yard contains over 100 native Missouri plants.
